Some sites (even your own) display HTML code on feeds that have embeded links or formatting. You should strip any HTML from a feed after you read it.

The screensaver just crawls on my laptop display even though I have a Intel 3d chipset. It takes almost 3 minutes to load one news item.

Feature suggestion: have a keyboard shortcut to launch a web browser with the RSS story in it... maybe I'm just missing it, but that would be nice.
